Standing Against Bullying
Standing Against Bullying (SAB) is a youth-focused program for children and teens ages 6–15, designed to educate, empower, and equip young people with the knowledge and confidence to recognize, address, and overcome bullying.
Anyone can be a victim of bullying. Bullying does not have a specific “type” of victim. Children and teens may be targeted because they are perceived as different, vulnerable, isolated, or simply because a bully chooses to target them.

Who Can Be a Victim of Bullying?
A victim of bullying can be any child or teenager or adult, regardless of:
- Age or grade level
- Race, culture, or background
- Gender
- Appearance or body size
- Personality or interests
- Academic performance
- Family or financial background
- Disability or differences in abilities
- Speech, clothing, or the way they express themselves
- Friendships or social status
Bullying can happen to children who are quiet and shy, outgoing and confident, popular or less socially connected. Being bullied is never the victim's fault.
