Forbidden Secret
Forbidden Secrets is a confidential support group designed for adults who are healing from childhood trauma and adverse life experiences. The program provides a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where participants can openly discuss their experiences, gain a deeper understanding of how trauma affects emotional well-being, and learn healthier coping strategies. Through guided discussions, emotional support, and practical healing techniques, participants are empowered to break unhealthy cycles, restore hope, and move toward emotional healing and personal growth.
Support Group
You may have difficult days, and that does not mean you are going backward. Your feelings are valid. Your story matters. Your healing matters. In this support group, you are not alone. We create a safe, supportive, and confidential space where you can share, listen, learn, and grow at your own pace. You survived it. You are more than what happened to you. And healing is possible.
Support System
Several factors play a role in the recovery process, including the presence of a strong support system comprised of individuals you trust, respect, and feel comfortable with. This support network can include family members, friends, educators, faith leaders, neighbors, or peers. The key is having people you feel at ease discussing your experiences with and who can provide the support you may need.
Healing
Healing from trauma is a journey, not a destination. You do not have to forget what happened to move forward. Healing means learning to understand your experiences, release the shame that was never yours to carry, and rebuild a sense of safety, trust, and self-worth.
